Unbeknownst to him, Round Up cannot be sprayed ANYWHERE near growing tomatoes, much less right up under them. Sadly, here's the result.
Cranberry and Red will be lucky to survive this setback. (As will the Investor.) I've given them lots of special treatment and am hopeful that they stay strong and pull through.
Not all the mater's got hit, lucky for these four, they were sitting on pine straw and the mater murderer with his dark shadow and deadly wand passed them by. These guys will keep fighting for team Manual Mater Maker. The others would want it that way. I do concede however, that my lead is gone, we'll be doing our best to simply keep up at this point. I'm not loving that fact.
When life gives you dead tomatoes... not sure what fun drink I can make with dead tomatoes? I suppose I'll just drown my sorrows over a Mich Ultra - paid for by the Investor.
Mater Master Advertisement FREE INVESTOR TO A GOOD HOME. Who am I kidding, it doesn't need to be a good home, an okay home will do. Heck, a crappy home works too. (Just keep him away from your maters.)

My condolences to the Manual Mater Maker team. Certainly this was a set back to the race. (No sympathy though for the investor - he did a very bad thing.)
Well, you still have four and it only takes one, so the race is still on.
I too had a brush with disaster here at Mater-Master just last week. I just did prevent a major spraying of Miracle-gro on Rocky. Lou was Miracle-Gro'n everything in sight. I didn't think she would dare put that stuff on my Rocky but she did. Fortunately, it was for just a short spirt. I let out a blood-cuddling scream as I saw what was happening. So far no major setback to Rocky. He took it like a man! Lou didn't take it as well.
Yes the Investor did a very bad thing.
Lucky for him no one has taken me up on my offer to adopt him out... I guess he stays. I have however threatened to cut off his beer if he ever comes near my garden again. I think I now have his attention. Cherry is going to make it. Cranberry and Red are fighting, I'm still hopeful.
